we had a fantastic time at the lodge, far surpassing our previous stay in carmel. the surroundings felt safe for the kids, allowing them to explore and play without worry. the patio views were stunning, overlooking the golf course and lake, making our stay feel like a retreat.

The spacious room I stayed in offered an awesome view into the valley, and I loved being just a few steps from the beautiful Boete Winery for a little local tasting experience during my weekend strolls. however, I had some issues with the back office administration staff that could use improvement.

It was just a great match for a weekend outing in Carmel-by-the-Sea with good value for cost. Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake with drinks and small plates was such a nice experience. Try the duck fries—they’re amazing!

Beautiful grounds with flowers everywhere. Enjoyed the mini golf and peaceful vibe. Room amenities are outdated and could use attention.

Our family felt right at home in this incredible lodge! The accommodating staff turned a stressful night into a delightful experience. The cozy, spotless room and the free putting course were huge hits with our son. Don’t miss the breakfast. the omelette is exceptional!

The place felt like a private sanctuary, with a golf course and beautiful views everywhere I looked. We made amazing family memories while lounging by the cozy fireplace and playing on the well-maintained putting green, which is a highlight for my kids.

It wasn't cheap, but the experience was worth every penny.

my recent stay was fantastic, way better than my last trip to carmel-by-the-sea. the peaceful ambiance and stunning lake views really made it feel rejuvenating. the cozy room had a beautiful sitting area overlooking the pond, which was perfect for unwinding.

We just loved our stay at this beautiful lodge, especially the golf experience! My sister and I enjoyed the private group lessons at the Quail Lodge Golf Academy, where we received personalized instruction and got to improve our swings on the gorgeous course. Watching the sunset over the greens from our roomy cottage was simply stunning.

My kids wished there was a bigger pool area for them to splash around and play. It would’ve been great to have more activities designed for young families.
